1. Services
Xaso Studios provides freelance development services including Minecraft plugin development, Minecraft server setup and configuration, website development, and Discord bot development. All services are provided by an independent contractor.
2. Project Agreements
Each project begins with a free consultation to scope deliverables, timeline, and price. Work commences only after both parties agree on the project scope and the client pays the agreed deposit. The scope agreement may be made via Discord or email and is considered binding once confirmed in writing.
3. Payment
A deposit (typically 50% of the agreed total) is due before work begins. The remaining balance is due upon delivery of the completed project. For projects under $50, full payment may be requested upfront. Accepted payment methods are agreed upon during consultation.
4. Revisions and Scope
Revisions within the originally agreed scope are included at no additional cost. Requests that fall outside the agreed scope (new features, significant design changes, or additional deliverables) will be scoped and priced separately before any additional work is undertaken.
5. Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full payment, the client receives full ownership of the delivered deliverables (code, assets, configurations) specific to their project. Xaso Studios retains the right to display the work in a portfolio unless explicitly agreed otherwise. Any third-party libraries, APIs, or tools used in the project are subject to their own respective licenses.
6. Delivery and Delays
Timeline estimates are provided in good faith during scoping. Delays caused by the client (e.g., slow feedback, late provision of required assets or access) may extend the timeline without penalty to Xaso Studios. If a delay originates from Xaso Studios, the client will be notified promptly with a revised delivery estimate.
7. Limitation of Liability
Xaso Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of delivered software or services. All software is delivered as-is; the client is responsible for testing and verifying fitness for their specific use case before deploying to a production environment.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing any formal legal process.
9. Changes to These Terms
Xaso Studios may update these Terms of Service at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
