Refund Policy

Last updated: March 2026

1. General Policy

Due to the custom nature of freelance development work, refunds are not offered once work has begun. This policy exists because time and labor invested in a project cannot be recovered once spent.

2. Before Work Begins

If a project is cancelled before any work has started, any deposit paid will be refunded in full. "Work has started" means the developer has begun scoping, designing, or writing code for the project — not just receiving the deposit.

3. After Work Begins

No refunds are offered once work has begun. If a client cancels a project partway through, the deposit is forfeited to compensate for time already spent. Any work completed up to the cancellation point will be delivered to the client.

4. Revisions Within Scope

Revisions and adjustments within the originally agreed project scope are included at no additional cost. A "revision" means correcting or adjusting delivered work to match the agreed specifications — not adding new features or changing the original scope.

5. Disputes

If the delivered work does not meet the agreed specifications, please reach out directly before assuming a dispute. Most issues are resolved quickly through communication. If a genuine fault exists on the developer's part, it will be corrected at no charge.
